of Dave Snowberg and Michelle Dodd.

We’ve had the joy of experiencing some beautiful and exciting adventures outside, on bikes, on foot and in a kayak. We hope our experiences can be of some help to others hoping to get outside.

We have decided to settle in and stay put for a while in order to start a different kind of adventure: having a baby. Lena was born December 12, 2010. She was out on a hike with Dave on her second day of life, and she hasn’t slowed down since. We hope to get back to longer adventures some day, but for now we wish you all the best in getting outside for your own happy adventures.

Our Traveling Philosophy

We prefer to travel by our own means whenever possible in ways that are light on the land and put us in close contact with the people, cultures, and diverse ecosystems our beautiful Earth offers. Dave has long had this mindset and also has the personal mission of photo-documenting the current state of the landscapes and wildlife he sees when traveling. Michelle’s goal is to write about the sights and interactions with people in a way that brings it close and makes it real to friends, family and others reading at home. Together we hope to illustrate the joy and beauty of Earth-friendly travel so others can benefit from our experience.
